About Wesbrook Village
University Endowment's newest family housing initiative, Wesbrook Village, encompasses 110 acres, along the Wesbrook Mall, located south of West 16th Avenue and bounded by Pacific Spirit Regional Park and the Greenway.
The atmosphere in the Village is busy, vibrant, exciting, and growing. Community events abound, from book clubs, fun workshops for kids and crafts for all ages, to piano concerts, documentary film festivals, and holiday celebrations.
The neighbourhood is a mere 10-minute walk to UBC campus and neighbouring Hampton Place neighbourhood, offers instant access to Pacific Spirit Park trails and features a shopping village anchored by Save-On-Foods and complemented by a restaurant, coffee shop, liquor store, and other convenient shops and services. Wesbrook has it all.
Shopping in the University Endowment Wesbrook Village
Construction of the commercial village and first Wesbrook residential properties is now underway, with plenty of new construction evident. When completed, Wesbrook Village will be the largest neighbourhood on UBC's Vancouver campus, with a mix of townhouses and apartments housing over 12,500 students, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, leasehold homeowners, and the general public. In addition, there is also Seasons Wesbrook, an independent retirement residence located in the heart of Wesbrook Village.

While Wesbrook Village is the newest and thus most expensive housing area in University Endowment, it is certainly a great place to buy. In addition to the commercial village, here are some of the prominent features of the Wesbrook Village neighbourhood:

Just around the block from Wesbrook Village are the UBC Farm, a world-renowned organic farm and garden consisting of 60 acres of crops, orchards, and forest stands, open to the public from Monday - Saturday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm.
With a mission to make UBC, a global leader in healthy, advanced, truly sustainable food science, UBC farm offers plenty of fresh produce to buy and enjoy. Between June and October, UBC Farms offers 250 varieties of vegetables, fruit, herbs, and flowers, mostly at its farmer's markets. Adults can not only shop here, but you can also engage and volunteer.
Kids Programs
UBC Farm also offers incredible programs and camps for kids, including the Intergenerational Landed Learning Project (throughout the school year), the FarmWonders spring and summer camp program (children ages 6 to 12 years), and the FarmDiscovery School Tours, which offer student groups the chance see and discuss a working organic farm in action.
